God Teen Program
Leader: Tim Wegner
Purpose:
The North American
Martyrs God Teen program is a high school religious
program designed to create a positive atmosphere for
teens to learn, share and grow in their faith and
morals.
We meet regularly in
the homes of married volunteers, “godparents” who are a
second set of “parents” to the teens under their guiding
hand of God. The strong curriculum deals with hard
issues such as: suicide, drugs, music, dating, physical
appearance, fair fighting, friendships, vocation and
personal prayer.
With all of the
pressure on teens to get involved in risky behavior—the
God Teen program seeks to encourage a safe and
confidential atmosphere for open discussion and
learning. We want to develop strong decision-making
skills in our teens to enable them to take charge of
their lives in extraordinary ways based upon scripture
and an unwavering faith in God.

plans for your welfare, not for woe!
