A Night on the Town


GIFT is a fundraising event Friday, October 18 at Nebraska Innovation Campus for North American Martyrs Parish and School. The event includes a cocktail reception, catered dinner, silent and live auctions, cash lottery, and DJ.

5:30 – Silent Auction/Cocktails
7:30 – Dinner
8:30 – Live Auction/Lottery Drawing

Menu: Fresh mixed green salad topped with diced cucumbers, heirloom tomatoes, shredded carrots, and shredded cheese Chicken Piccata & donated Piedmontese Beef Tenderloin finished with a mushroom demi glaze and served alongside Buttermilk Mashed Potato and Roasted Root Vegetables*

*Meal is Gluten Free – Vegetarian option available. Please indicate need below.

Cost is $100** per person. Proceeds will benefit the church and school. (Includes 3 drink tickets.)

What is GIFT?

GIFT stands for Gathering In Faith & Thanksgiving – GIFT is a dinner with silent and live auction fundraising event we hold every Fall, typically on the football bye-weekend.

What is GIFT a fundraiser for?

GIFT is a fundraiser event for the Parish Community, not just the school. The funds are added to the overall budget and used towards various expenses throughout the year.

Who should attend GIFT?
  • ALL (age 21+) are invited to attend!
  • Single?! Invite your friends! You can pick who you sit by! We’d love to see Young Adult table (or more!) at the event!
  • Married?! – What married couple doesn’t need a good excuse for a date night!?
  • Young or old! – GIFT is for all 21+ age groups. It’s a great way to meet other parishioners or spend time with your church friends!
When and where is GIFT?

This year’s GIFT event will be held Friday, October 18 in the banquet hall at Nebraska Innovation Campus.

Why are we moving GIFT offsite this year?
  • Size – we have limited space in the gym and while we haven’t maxed out that space yet, we hope to attract more parishioners to the event each year and not have to cut off ticket sales.
  • Logistics – it is a massive effort to transform the gym and parish hall into an event space for a gala. Moving the event off-site will require less of a transformation and therefore less work for committee and volunteers. We also don’t have to worry about working around school or church activities.
  • Cost – the cost to transform the gym and rent the necessary catering supplies and event rentals is a significant expense for the event. We save money hosting the event off-site.
Why did we choose Nebraska Innovation Campus?

We looked at a variety of different venues. Many were already booked for events. Nebraska Innovation Campus banquet hall is spacious, has great catering facilities, quality technology and easy parking for our guests.

How do I purchase tickets/reserve seats for GIFT?
  • To reserve seats, complete this form and submit it with check or cash by October 4 to North American Martyrs Church, 1101 Isaac Drive, Lincoln, NE 68521 (mail or drop off at the office during open hours.)

How much are tickets to GIFT?
  • Tickets are $100 per person ($103 if paying online) and include plated dinner and 3 drink tickets.

Is my ticket purchase tax-deductible?

Per IRS guidelines, $50 of the price per person will be in exchange for the benefit received. The balance of your payment may be a tax-deductible contribution to the extent allowed by law

Can I pick who I sit with at GIFT?
  • We will do our best to accommodate all seating requests.

What is the timeline of events for GIFT?
  • 5:30 pm – Cocktail reception and silent auction bidding (fun and fellowship!)
  • 7:30 pm – Dinner served; plated dinner with assigned seating. You may request your table assignments via the reservation form.
  • 8:00 pm – Silent auction ends; Live auction begins
  • 11:00 pm – End of event
What else can we expect at GIFT?
  • Fellowship & Fun!
  • Parishioner, Owner & DJ Shawn Labadie from Complete Weddings + Events will emcee the night and entertain us with music throughout the evening.
  • 30+ silent auction items including the infamous “classroom projects” created by our own NAM students
  • A lovely dinner from Yes Chef! Catering with donated Piedmontese beef followed by amazing desserts from parishioner & pastry chef, Stacy Pfeifer. (Gluten free dinner. Dietary restrictions will be addressed.)
  • Live auction with Auctioneer, Russ Moravec with items for a variety of tastes
  • Free parking at Nebraska Innovation Campus
Is there a “theme” for the event & what should I wear to GIFT?

This year’s theme is “A Night on the Town.” Cocktail attire or business casual is encouraged but not required.
