regarding Hy-Vee's Dollars for Education 2008.
The 10th Annual Dollars for Education program began
Monday, January 14th, and ends Sunday, April 6th, 2008.
Ongoing Fund-Raisers:
The following programs are easy ways to raise money
and earn educational items for our school by simply
saving 'Box Tops', UPC codes and lids, or by designating
our school to receive a percentage of your credit card
purchases:
Box Tops for Education
Campbell's Labels for Education
Target Take Charge of
Education
Our PTO also sponsors "Martyrs'
Nights Out"
A "Night Out" is held each month during the school year,
and is an easy way to help the PTO raise funds.
A local restaurant donates a portion of their sales
during specific hours on a particular night.
This is a
great way to enjoy a Night Out with the family and at
the same time raise money for our school!
Watch the school newsletter for the restaurants and
dates (and please remember to use Scrip whenever
possible!)
The PTO also sponsors other
fundraising events, which include the
Fall Magazine Drive, the Mayfair, and other activities
to support various building, landscaping, security, and
athletic projects.
Scrip
Scrip is an important fundraiser for our Parish, and
during the school year, we have two "Scrip Challenges",
in an effort to encourage families to try and to
continue using Scrip.
For the Scrip Challenge, we set a reasonable goal of
Scrip purchased (an average per student). Scrip
orders are assigned (on the order form) to particular
students and their classrooms, and those classrooms who
meet and exceed their goals receive a reward.
We hope that all families try and continue to use
Scrip!
We have more information about
Scrip on our Parish website.
Stewardship of Time, Talent, and Treasure
The primary purpose of our school is to assist Catholic
parents in the religious education of the their
children, and all parents are expected to actively
participate in worship and Holy Days of Obligation
throughout the year.In addition, families are
asked to practice Stewardship of time, talent and
treasure.
Please visit our Parish website for
information regarding
Stewardship.
