It is not too late to attend, even if classes have already begun.

Fr. Connor will offer a book study of Jesus and the Jewish roots of the Eucharist: Unlocking the Secrets of the Last Supper, by Brant Pitre. It will be offered Sunday, September 13th to November 1st (8 weeks) from 4-5:00 pm in the Multi-purpose Room with plenty of room for social distancing (and optional masks). You can get the book at Gloria Deo or online. Missing classes is permitted but it helps to read the book

The Martyrs Ladies Book Study Group that formerly met at Eisley Library is offering a study this Fall by phone tele conference. Please join us on Mondays from 1:00 pm—2:00 pm, September 14th through October 26th. We will be studying “Angels of God” by Mike Aquiline with supplementary material coming from Peter Kreeft’s book on Angels. The facilitators of this study are Nancy Mongeon and Joan Geardino.

The Wild Goose Series will be offered at Martyrs beginning Tuesday, September 22nd at 7:00 pm. The Wild Goose is a video series on the Holy Spirit presented by nationally known author and speaker, Fr. Dave Pivonka. With beautiful film-making and compelling teaching, you are invited into a more profound life-giving relationship with the  Holy Spirit. Class facilitators are Fr. Connor and Anna Sullivan. No cost. No book. A study guide is available on FORMED. Class may be done at home individually, on zoom, or in person.

Seeking Truth Bible Study: We welcome people from all backgrounds to join us in studying God’s Word. If you’ve ever wanted to know more about the Bible, now is your chance. Please come and study scripture with us and tell a friend too. Patty Krings will be facilitating this year’s study of Romans and Ephesians beginning Wednesday, September 23rd, from 6-7:30 pm. (Same night and time as CCD). A book is available for $20, but is not required.  There is  also an online option.
