North American Martyrs RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Becoming Catholic / RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is designed for people who want to explore Catholicism. RCIA has also been adapted to accommodate baptized Catholics who have not yet received First Communion and/or Confirmation. Entering the life and culture of the Catholic Church requires a gradual process of initiation. This program strives to facilitate discernment, foster prayer, and help interested non-Catholic adults learn more about Catholic beliefs, traditions, liturgy and mission.

When North American Martyrs parishioners Victoria and Garen Miller adopted their son Timos from Uganda four years ago, they had no idea the impact that he would have on their lives. As a result of their son’s faith, the Millers would convert to Catholicism, and came into the Church on the Easter Vigil in 2020.
