Meet Our Team

Fr. Nathan Hall

Pastor

nanatComing most recently from Hastings, and following on several years teaching high school, Fr. Hall is overjoyed to be the pastor here at Martyrs. Fr. Hall was an engineer for a few years before hearing the call to the priesthood.  He was also in a rock band and still performs from time to time. Fr. Hall does not love sweets, but he does love teaching the faith, counseling souls, and being the pastor here at Martyrs. He is also a chaplain for a ministry very dear to his heart called Eden Invitation.

Fr. Matthew Kovar

Fr. Matthew Kovar
Assistant Pastor

After growing up in the Bohemian Alps of Butler County, Fr. Kovar has returned to the “big city” of Lincoln to serve our community here once again at North American Martyrs. He was here a few years ago as a Deacon and now he is our new Assistant Pastor! Fr. Kovar’s dream was to become a science teacher, but now he shares his passion for education by teaching at Pius X High School while also pursuing a master’s degree in School Administration. In his free time, Fr. Kovar loves to bake bread, read books, and spends time hiking and fishing – but nothing brings him more joy than serving God’s people. We are so excited to have him return to our NAM Family!
