Lots of ways to get involved, use your gifts, serve others, and meet some great people.

Parish Council of Catholic Women

The PCCW does so much for Martyrs. From providing altar linens, surplices and cassocks, altar wine and bread, to putting together special receptions and raising funds, these women are indispensable.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is open to all men of the parish. They meet regularly to participate in spiritual formation, engage in service to the church and community, provide events for families, fundraise, and more.

Rosary Group

This group meets on Mondays at 7:30 pm in the church to pray a rosary. All are welcome to join.

 

Teaching

Do you have a gift for teaching? There are many opportunities at Martyrs to put your gift to good use.

Grounds Crew

Do you like doing work outside? The Grounds Crew would love your help. This group takes care of a lot of the lawn care and snow removal around the Martyrs campus.

Embrace Grace

Embrace Grace is a ministry to single women with unexpected pregnancies. The group meets regularly to offer financial, emotional, and spiritual support.

Martyrs Men

This group meets every Saturday from 7:30-9:30 am in the Kateri Room at the parish for a study and discussion on different elements of the faith. Currently, they’re focusing on the Holy Spirit.

Schoenstatt Ladies Group

Schoenstatt is a Catholic renewal movement with the goal of putting the faith into daily practice. They meet monthly and learn, pray, and foster devotion to Mary.

Women of Martyrs

Open to all women of the parish, this group engages in many different activities. They do small group book and Bible studies, retreats, play groups, and set up meal trains. They also bring in speakers, put on community events, and prepare Thanksgiving meals for the homebound.

Church Cleaning Crew

There are a handful of different cleaning crews that get together on a rotating basis to clean the church. Joining a group, you’d commit to help clean a couple times a year. It takes about an hour.

Hospitality

Do you have a gift for welcoming strangers and making them feel at home? Martyrs would love your help! We’re looking for volunteers to help with RCIA, Sunday Masses, and parish event.

Missionaries of the Holy Spirit in the Family

This wonderful apostolate is dedicated to helping married couples experience the love of God, discern their gifts, and grow closer to each other through “sanctifying the ordinary.”

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international charitable organization with a local chapter here at Martyrs. This chapter does a lot of service to the community. Their main work is visiting the homes of the poor. They meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Kateri Room at the church.

Grief Support Group

The Grief Support Group at Martyrs is here to help you, whether you have lost a spouse, child, parent, or other loved one. This group meets on the fourth Monday of each month in the Kateri Room.
